Our People

Compassionate, experienced, and here for you. Our team is dedicated to creating a welcoming, supportive space where individuals and families can feel understood, empowered, and hopeful.

Meet

Dr. Michelle McDonald

Owner & licensed Psychologist

Having begun my career in education, it seemed natural that I would develop a specialty in pediatrics as a psychologist. While I love helping children and families grow, over time I became passionate about other seasons of the lifespan. Currently, it is an honor and pleasure to work with children, adolescents, young adults, and those entering middle age.

I offer therapy and support for both high and low-incidence referral concerns. Anxiety, depression, trauma, and various behavior issues are welcome. I am comfortable with bipolar disorder, personality disorders, impulse control disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders as well as intrusive thoughts, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm. If you are unsure how your personal experience fits with my professional expertise, please reach out. The fit between person and therapist is important; I offer honesty in if/how I can help and will make a more appropriate referral if necessary.

The empirically-based therapeutic techniques I primary utilize include:

In addition to my educational and professional experience, I am a military spouse and mother to three wonderful humans.  I understand the urgency you may be feeling to get support for yourself and/or child and the challenges obtaining behavioral and mental health support.

I hope to give you a safe space to explore your concerns, and a partner to help navigate the next steps.

Meet

Martha Greenhaw

LMFT Intern Under Clinical Supervision

Martha is a Marriage and Family Therapy intern who believes therapy is most effective when clients feel safe, respected, and empowered. Martha works with individuals and families experiencing life transitions, marriage challenges, family conflict, or anyone looking to strengthen overall relationship dynamics. She provides therapy under the clinical supervision of Cara Nazareth, LCMFT. Services with Martha are currently offered on a private-pay basis.

Meet

Carlee Chatman

Office Manager

Carlee brings over ten years of experience working in the nonprofit and technology sectors – from volunteer management and fundraising, to HR, billing, and everything in between! Her diverse career path has allowed her to combine people-focused service with strong organizational systems. Born and raised in Florida, Carlee is a military spouse and mom of two, who most recently spent four years living in Japan. This served to deepen her love for traveling and exploring new cultures (most notably the food!). Outside of work, she is happiest when spending time with family and friends near the water.

Meet

Veronica Kerigan

Administrative Professional / Receptionist-Intake Specialist

I’m Veronica! I bring over a decade of experience in office administration and currently work as a Receptionist/Intake Specialist at Trillium. I’ve also worked with nonprofit organizations and enjoy being part of work that makes a difference. Outside of work, as a military spouse and mother of two beautiful humans, I’ve learned to create stability, community, and strength for my family no matter where we’re stationed. I love traveling, learning new languages, and cooking dishes inspired by the places I’ve lived and visited. I’m always excited to learn something new and take on new challenges.
